Born the third child of civil servants, Laurus spent the first eighteen years of life holding court among the family pets and living room bookcases.
Now a student of English Literature and Quiet Failure at Rutgers College, she marvels at the consistent existence of other people. After graduation Laurus hopes to drive far away.
